Texas High School Basketball - Jefferson overwhelms New Boston
December 7, 2021: Jefferson, TX 75657 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Jefferson Bulldogs (Jefferson, TX) and the visiting New Boston Lions (New Boston, TX), saw Jefferson's basketball squad wallop New Boston by a count of 67-40.
With the victory, Jefferson upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Como-Pickton (Como, TX) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 9. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 1-6. Como-Pickton lost 45-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Prairiland (Pattonville, TX)
Next up, the Lions play the Hughes Springs Mustangs (Hughes Springs, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 14. New Boston will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 55-46 non-league loss to Hawkins (Hawkins, TX).
