The NC GBB Academy National Eagles basketball team (Durham, NC), was toppled 90-71 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Combine Academy Goats (Lincolnton, NC)

The Goats now possess a 12-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dynamic Prep for a non-league battle on Friday, December 9. Combine Academy will confront a team coming off a 59-46 non-league win over Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC). The record now stands at 5-0.

The Eagles (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Piedmont Classical (Browns Summit, NC). The Bobcats come into the CAASC Central Carolina - East battle with a 11-2 record. In their last battle, Piedmont Classical beat Shining Light Academy (Greensboro, NC), 77-60, in a non-league battle.
