The Le Mars Bulldogs basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host Western Christian Wolfpack to 54 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Thursday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop Heelan Catholic for a Missouri River contest on Friday, December 8. Le Mars will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 60-14 league win over Sioux City North (Sioux City, IA). The Crusaders record now stands at 3-0.
The Wolfpack (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union (Marcus, IA). The Royals come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union was nudged by Harris-Lake Park (Lake Park, IA), 56-55, in a non-league contest.
