December 7, 2024: Newville, PA 17241 Big Spring Bulldogs (Newville, PA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Kutztown Cougars (Kutztown, PA), 61-48 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Big Spring upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Susquehanna Township (Harrisburg, PA) to face the HANNA in a Mid-Penn - Capital match on Tuesday, December 10. The HANNA enter the match with a record of 1-0. Susquehanna Township won 67-59 in their recent non-league match against Chichester (Boothwyn, PA)
The Cougars now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brandywine Heights Area for a Berks County 3 match on Monday, December 9. Kutztown will face a Bullets squad coming off a 62-46 non-league win over Fleetwood (Fleetwood, PA). The Bullets record now stands at 1-2.
