December 7, 2024: Los Lunas, NM 87031 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls (Carlsbad, NM) and the host Los Lunas Tigers (Los Lunas, NM), observed Carlsbad's basketball team overwhelm Los Lunas by a margin of 48-20.
The Cavemen/Cavegirls (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Gadsden (Anthony, NM). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Gadsden trounced Santa Teresa (Santa Teresa, NM), 53-41, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Capital Jaguars (Santa Fe, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. Los Lunas will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 63-51 non-league loss to Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM).
