Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Mifflin County holds off Mifflinburg
December 7, 2024: Mifflinburg, PA 17844 The Mifflin County Huskies basketball team scored 51 points and limited the host Mifflinburg Wildcats to 50 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Huskies now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Milton Hershey for a Mid-Penn - Keystone game on Wednesday, December 11. Mifflin County will confront a Spartans team coming off a 56-54 non-league win over Bishop McDevitt (Harrisburg, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Mifflinburg falls to 3-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Danville (Danville, PA) to confront the Ironmen in a Heartland II game on Monday, December 9. The Ironmen go into the game with a record of 1-1. Danville lost 71-49 in their recent non-league game against Wilkes-Barre (Wilkes-Barre, PA)
