In Saturday's non-league bout, the Blair Bears (Blair, NE) basketball team crushed the visiting Ralston Rams (Ralston, NE), by a tally of 71-8.

The Bears now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Waverly for a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 10. Blair will play a Vikings team coming off a 47-43 non-league win over Elkhorn (Elkhorn, NE). The Vikings record now stands at 2-0.
