In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Hertford County Bears (Ahoskie, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Riverside-Martin Knights (Williamston, NC), by a margin of 54-26.

The Bears (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Currituck County (Barco, NC). The Knights go into the 2A/3A Conference 15 outing with a 3-2 record. In their last outing, Currituck County smashed Hickory (Chesapeake, VA), 64-52, in a non-league outing.
