The Marion County Red Raiders basketball team scored 86 points and held the host Berry Wildcats to 29 in the Red Raiders non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Red Raiders now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hubbertville for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9.

The Wildcats (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against South Lamar (Millport, AL). The Stallions enter the 1A Area 9 contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, South Lamar was routed by Marion County (Guin, AL), 80-48, in a non-league contest.
