The Lynn Bears basketball team (Lynn, AL), was overwhelmed 72-39 in Thursday's league battle with the host Marion County Red Raiders (Guin, AL)

The Red Raiders now possess a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brilliant for a 1A Area 11 battle on Friday, December 16. Marion County will confront a Tigers team coming off a 57-31 non-league win over Vina (Vina, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 1-8.

The Bears (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Winston County (Double Springs, AL). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league battle with a 4-7 record. In their last battle, Winston County trounced Curry (Jasper, AL), 55-53, in a non-league battle.
