Arizona High School Basketball - Saguaro overwhelmed by Desert Mountain

December 8, 2022: Scottsdale, AZ 85250

The Desert Mountain Wolves basketball team scored 83 points and restricted the host Saguaro Sabercats to 43 in the Wolves non-league victory on Thursday.

The Wolves now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Notre Dame Prep for a 5A Northeast Valley contest on Friday, December 9. Desert Mountain will battle a Saints team coming off a 69-40 league win over Cactus Shadows (Cave Creek, AZ). The Saints record now stands at 8-0.

The Sabercats (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Mesquite (Gilbert, AZ). The Wildcats come into the 4A Desert Sky contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Mesquite was routed by Gilbert (Gilbert, AZ), 55-53, in a non-league contest.
