The Hickory Red Tornadoes (Hickory, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Freedom Patriots (Morganton, NC), 69-47 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Red Tornadoes (5-1) will now prepare for their test against East Lincoln (Denver, NC). The Mustangs go into the 3A Conference 51 test with a 6-0 record.
