Texas High School Basketball - Santa Rosa holds off King
December 8, 2022: Corpus Christi, TX 78412 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Santa Rosa Warriors (Santa Rosa, TX) and the host King Mustangs (Corpus Christi, TX), saw Santa Rosa's basketball squad hold off King by a tally of 36-34.
With the victory, Santa Rosa improves its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Laredo LBJ (Laredo, TX) to confront the Wolves in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 9. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 8-7. Laredo LBJ won 58-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Rivera (Brownsville, TX)
Next up, the Mustangs confront the Victoria West Warriors (Victoria, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. King will attempt to improve on its 10-5 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 61-43 non-league loss to Pleasanton (Pleasanton, TX).
