Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the South Pointe Griffins (Phoenix, AZ) and the host West Phoenix Eagles (Phoenix, AZ), saw South Pointe's basketball squad wallop West Phoenix by a tally of 63-32.

With the victory, South Pointe improves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Griffins host Glenview College Prep (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Mustangs in a Canyon Division 3 - Mountain challenge on Monday, December 12. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Glenview College Prep lost 60-54 in their recent non-league challenge against East Valley Athletes for Christ (Mesa, AZ)

Next up, the Eagles play the Imagine Prep Superstition Panthers (Apache Junction, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 13.
