The West Phoenix Eagles (Phoenix, AZ) basketball nipped the visiting Maricopa Institute of Technology (Phoenix, AZ), 40-36 in Thursday's league test.

The Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their test against South Pointe (Phoenix, AZ). The Griffins go into the Canyon Division 3 - Mountain test with a 0-1 record.

The now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to East Valley Athletes for Christ for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 6.
