California High School Basketball - Piedmont ripped by Dougherty Valley
December 8, 2022: Piedmont, CA 94611 The Dougherty Valley Wildcats basketball team scored 83 points and held the host Piedmont Highlanders to 44 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Wildcats now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tamalpais for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Dougherty Valley will battle a Red Tailed Hawks team coming off a 62-54 non-league win over Acalanes (Lafayette, CA). The Red Tailed Hawks record now stands at 2-0.
The Highlanders (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Acalanes (Lafayette, CA). The Dons enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Acalanes was routed by Tamalpais (Mill Valley, CA), 62-54, in a non-league contest.
