Aberdeen Eagles (Aberdeen, MD) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Fallston Cougars (Fallston, MD), 83-80 in a league bout.

With the victory, Aberdeen upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Edgewood (Edgewood, MD) to play the Rams in a Upper Chesapeake Bay - Chesapeake bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Rams come into the bout with a record of 0-1. Edgewood lost 66-31 in their recent non-league bout against Parkville (Baltimore, MD)

Next up, the Cougars play the Bel Air Bobcats (Bel Air, MD) in a Upper Chesapeake Bay - Chesapeake bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Fallston will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Bobcats come into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 71-58 league win over Harford Tech (Bel Air, MD).
