Texas High School Basketball - Aldine topped by Kashmere
December 8, 2023: Houston, TX 77037 The Kashmere Fighting Rams basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Aldine Mustangs to 35 in the Fighting Rams non-league victory on Friday.
The Fighting Rams now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mickey Leland College Preparatory Academy for Young Men for a 4A Region III District 21 contest on Saturday, December 9. Kashmere will battle a Knights team coming off a 71-20 non-league win over Milby (Houston, TX). The Knights record now stands at 7-2.
The Mustangs (0-13) will now prepare for their contest against Tomball Memorial (Tomball, TX). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Tomball Memorial was defeated by Vandegrift (Austin, TX), 59-47, in a non-league contest.
