Minnesota High School Basketball - Blue Earth tops Martin County West
December 8, 2023: Blue Earth, MN 56013 Blue Earth Buccaneers (Blue Earth, MN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Martin County West Mavericks (Sherburn, MN), 84-69 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Blue Earth upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Buccaneers travel to Fairmont (Fairmont, MN) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Friday, December 15. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 1-1. Fairmont lost 60-45 in their recent non-league bout against Waseca (Waseca, MN)
Next up, the Mavericks play the Cleveland Clippers (Cleveland, MN) in a A Section 2 bout, on Monday, December 11. Martin County West will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Clippers come into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 62-48 league win over Alden-Conger (Alden, MN).
