The Blue River Valley Vikings basketball team (Mt. Summit, IN), was nudged 52-45 in Friday's league battle with the host Cowan Blackhawks (Muncie, IN)

The Blackhawks now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tri for a non-league battle on Friday, December 15. Cowan will battle a Titans team coming off a 33-30 non-league loss to Shenandoah (Middletown, IN). The Titans record now stands at 1-3.

The Vikings (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Daleville (Daleville, IN). The Broncos come into the Mid-Eastern battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Daleville edged Eastern Hancock (Charlottesville, IN), 56-52, in a league battle.
