Virginia High School Basketball - Culpeper County nips Brentsville District
December 8, 2023: Culpeper, VA 22701 Culpeper County Blue Devils (Culpeper, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Brentsville District Tigers (Nokesville, VA), 60-58 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Culpeper County upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to King George (King George, VA) to play the Foxes in a Battlefield bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Foxes go into the bout with a record of 1-4. King George lost 63-47 in their recent non-league bout against Mountain View (Stafford, VA)
Next up, the Tigers play the Skyline Hawks (Front Royal, VA) in a Northwestern bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Brentsville District will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 79-28 non-league loss to Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA).
