December 8, 2023: Petal, MS 39465 In Friday's non-league outing, the Petal Panthers (Petal, MS) basketball squad felled the visiting Forrest County Agricultural Aggies (Brooklyn, MS), by a margin of 46-35.
The Panthers (5-7) will now prepare for their outing against Brandon (Brandon, MS). The Bulldogs go into the 7A Region 3 outing with a 6-5 record. In their last outing, Brandon thwarted Germantown (Madison, MS), 60-51, in a non-league outing.
The Aggies now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Gautier for a non-league outing on Saturday, December 9. Forrest County Agricultural will clash with a Gators squad coming off a 44-28 non-league win over Poplarville (Poplarville, MS). The Gators record now stands at 3-3.
