The Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Harper Longhorns to 42 in the Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) non-league triumph on Friday.

The Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) now sport a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Latexo for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. Uvalde will meet a Tigers team coming off a 56-53 non-league win over Randolph (Universal City, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 7-6.

The Longhorns (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Comfort (Comfort, TX). The Bobcats/Deer enter the non-league contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Comfort was outscored by St. Augustine (Laredo, TX), 72-60, in a non-league contest.
