December 15, 2023: Uvalde, TX 78801 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) (Uvalde, TX) and the visiting Comfort Bobcats/Deer (Comfort, TX), saw Uvalde's basketball squad hold off Comfort by a tally of 58-54.
With the victory, Uvalde improves its record to 5-11 on the campaign. The Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) host Brady (Brady, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 18. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 9-6.
Next up, the Bobcats/Deer play the Jourdanton Indians/Squaws (Jourdanton, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Comfort will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record. The Indians/Squaws come into the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 72-61 non-league loss to Crystal City (Crystal City, TX).
