Texas High School Basketball - St. Augustine thwarts Comfort
December 9, 2023: Comfort, TX 78013 The St. Augustine Knights (Laredo, TX) basketball knocked off the host Comfort Bobcats/Deer (Comfort, TX), 72-60 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Knights (6-8) will now prepare for their test against Martin (Laredo, TX). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 4-14 record. In their last test, Martin went down by Judson (Converse, TX), 61-20, in a non-league test.
The Bobcats/Deer now own a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Harper for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 12. Comfort will encounter a Longhorns squad coming off a 55-42 non-league loss to Uvalde (Uvalde, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 1-10.
