Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC) and the visiting Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC), saw Perquimans's basketball squad wallop Holmes by a tally of 44-23.

With the victory, Perquimans improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Pirates host Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 11. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
