The Pasquotank County Panthers basketball team (Elizabeth City, NC), was toppled 43-25 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC)

The Aces now possess a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hertford County for a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal battle on Friday, January 26. Holmes will confront a Bears team coming off a 49-45 league win over Currituck County (Barco, NC). The Bears record now stands at 10-5.
