In Friday's league outing, the First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Pasquotank County Panthers (Elizabeth City, NC), by a count of 51-25.

The Nighthawks (9-2) will now prepare for their outing against Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC). The Eagles go into the 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal outing with a 9-5 record. In their last outing, Northeastern smashed Currituck County (Barco, NC), 58-41, in a league outing.
