The First Flight Nighthawks basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Camden County Bruins to 29 in the Nighthawks league victory on Friday.

The Nighthawks now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hertford County for a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal contest on Tuesday, February 6. First Flight will battle a Bears team coming off a 53-38 league loss to Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC). The Bears record now stands at 13-6.

The Bruins (2-14) will now prepare for their contest against Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC). The Eagles come into the 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal contest with a 13-5 record. In their last contest, Northeastern triumphed over Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC), 53-38, in a league contest.
