The First Flight Nighthawks topped the host Holmes Aces basketball team by a final score of 54-44 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Nighthawks face the Pasquotank County Panthers (Elizabeth City, NC) in a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal game, on Friday, January 19. First Flight will attempt to move on its 8-2 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 2-10 record after their 38-28 league win over Manteo (Manteo, NC).
