Montevideo Thunderhawks (Montevideo, MN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Benson (Benson, MN), 78-52 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Montevideo upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Thunderhawks travel to Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta (Morris, MN) to play the Tigers in a AA Section 3 bout on Friday, January 20. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 1-2.
