West Virginia High School Basketball - Buffalo nips Point Pleasant

December 9, 2022: Buffalo, WV 25033

Buffalo Bison (Buffalo, WV) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Point Pleasant Big Blacks (Point Pleasant, WV), 57-55 in a league bout.

With the victory, Buffalo upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Bison travel to Ravenswood (Ravenswood, WV) to play the Red Devils in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Red Devils come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Ravenswood won 64-40 in their recent league bout against Wirt County (Elizabeth, WV)

Next up, the Big Blacks play the Nitro Wildcats (Nitro, WV) in a Cardinal bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Point Pleasant will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 44-32 non-league win over Lincoln (Shinnston, WV).
