The Mt. Pleasant Tigers basketball team scored 80 points and held the visiting Corsicana Tigers to 23 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 13-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Crandall for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 10. Mt. Pleasant will battle a Pirates team coming off a 68-45 non-league win over Princeton (Princeton, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 10-5.

The Tigers (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Braswell (Little Elm, TX). The Bengals enter the non-league contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Braswell triumphed over Azle (Azle, TX), 60-53, in a non-league contest.
