The Hartford Central Tanagers basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the host Fort Edward Flying Forts to 35 in the Tanagers league victory on Friday.

The Tanagers now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Argyle for a Section 2 Adirondack contest on Wednesday, December 14. Hartford Central will battle a Scots team coming off a 84-41 league win over Salem (Salem, NY). The Scots record now stands at 1-3.

The Flying Forts (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Granville (Granville, NY). The Golden Horde come into the Section 2 Adirondack contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Granville triumphed over Argyle (Argyle, NY), 82-45, in a league contest.
