Tennessee High School Basketball - Kirby ripped by Overton
December 9, 2022: Memphis, TN 38115 The Overton Wolverines basketball team scored 96 points and held the host Kirby Cougars to 49 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Friday.
The Wolverines now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Covington for a non-league bout on Thursday, December 15. Overton will play a Chargers squad coming off a 59-40 non-league win over Tipton-Rosemark Academy (Millington, TN). The Chargers record now stands at 2-5.
Next up, the Cougars play the KIPP Collegiate phoenix (Memphis, TN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Kirby will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The phoenix come into the bout with a 7-4 record after their 81-63 non-league win over King Prep (Memphis, TN).
