December 9, 2022: Decatur, IL 62526 The Decatur Lutheran Lions (Decatur, IL) basketball crushed the visiting Lutheran Crusaders (Springfield, IL), 72-26 in Friday's non-league test.
The Lions (8-0) will now prepare for their test against Warrensburg-Latham (Warrensburg, IL). The Cardinals go into the non-league test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Warrensburg-Latham walloped Cerro Gordo/Bement (Cerro Gordo, IL), 44-31, in a non-league test.
The Crusaders now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Athens for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 13. Lutheran will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 72-67 non-league loss to Calvary (Springfield, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 2-3.
