North Carolina High School Basketball - South Mecklenburg fells Palisades

December 9, 2022: Charlotte, NC 28278

South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Palisades Pumas (Charlotte, NC), 65-55 in a league bout.

With the win, South Mecklenburg upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season. The Sabres host Berry (Charlotte, NC) to play the Cardinal in a 4A Conference 49 bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Cardinal go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Berry lost 69-21 in their recent league bout against Myers Park (Charlotte, NC)

Next up, the Pumas play the Ardrey Kell Knights (Charlotte, NC) in a 4A Conference 49 bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Palisades will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 79-67 non-league loss to Sun Valley (Monroe, NC).
