In Friday's non-league outing, the Springtown Porcupines (Springtown, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Pilot Point Bearcats (Pilot Point, TX), by a count of 66-23.

The Porcupines (7-9) will now prepare for their outing against Paschal (Fort Worth, TX). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 11-7 record. In their last outing, Paschal was crushed by Bridgeport (Bridgeport, TX), 34-26, in a non-league outing.

The Bearcats now hold a 0-15 record. They play next when they travel to South Hills for a non-league outing on Saturday, December 10. Pilot Point will clash with a Scorpions squad coming off a 56-12 non-league loss to Bell (Hurst, TX). The Scorpions record now stands at 2-10.
