The Mineral Wells Rams (Mineral Wells, TX) basketball nipped the visiting Springtown Porcupines (Springtown, TX), 49-44 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Rams (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Carter-Riverside (Fort Worth, TX). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, Carter-Riverside was tipped by Castleberry (Fort Worth, TX), 35-33, in a non-league test.
