The Mineral Wells Rams basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Carter-Riverside Eagles to 26 in the Rams non-league triumph on Friday.

The Rams now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Polytechnic for a non-league contest on Friday, December 2. Mineral Wells will battle a Parrots team coming off a 34-30 non-league loss to Castleberry (Fort Worth, TX). The Parrots record now stands at 1-7.

The Eagles (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Springtown (Springtown, TX). The Porcupines enter the non-league contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Springtown was routed by Mineral Wells (Mineral Wells, TX), 49-44, in a non-league contest.
