Indiana High School Basketball - East Chicago Central falls to Lafayette Jefferson

December 9, 2023: East Chicago, IN 46312

In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Lafayette Jefferson Bronchos basketball team scored a good 65-55 triumph over the East Chicago Central Cardinals.

In their next game, the Bronchos meet the Logansport Berries (Logansport, IN) in a North Central match, on Friday, December 15. Lafayette Jefferson will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Berries enter the match with a 3-2 record after their 58-43 non-league win over Rochester (Rochester, IN).

With the defeat, East Chicago Central moves to 2-3 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Chesterton (Chesterton, IN) to meet the Trojans in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 12. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 3-1. Chesterton lost 36-33 in their recent non-league match against Brownsburg (Brownsburg, IN)
