Washington, DC High School Basketball - Gonzaga fells Georgetown Prep
December 9, 2023: Washington, DC 20001 Gonzaga Eagles (Washington, DC) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Georgetown Prep Little Hoyas (North Bethesda, MD), 72-58 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Gonzaga upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Eagles host Jackson-Reed (Washington, DC) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Sunday, December 10. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Jackson-Reed won 70-58 in their recent non-league bout against Whitney Young (Chicago, IL)
Next up, the Little Hoyas clash with the Whitney Young Dolphins (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Sunday, December 10. Georgetown Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Dolphins go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 70-58 non-league loss to Jackson-Reed (Washington, DC).
