Illinois High School Basketball - Westmont crushes Illinois Math & Science Academy
December 9, 2023: Westmont, IL 60559 Westmont Sentinels (Westmont, IL) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Illinois Math & Science Academy Titans (Aurora, IL), 62-30 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Westmont upgrades its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Sentinels host Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family (Downers Grove, IL) to play the in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The come into the bout with a record of 4-3. Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family lost 45-36 in their recent non-league bout against Lake County Baptist (Waukegan, IL)
Next up, the Titans play the Leland Panthers (Leland, IL) in a Little Ten bout, on Monday, December 11. Illinois Math & Science Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 60-29 non-league loss to Annawan (Annawan, IL).
