Arkansas High School Basketball - Pine Bluff tops Little Rock Southwest
December 9, 2023: Little Rock, AR 72103 Pine Bluff Zebras (Pine Bluff, AR) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Little Rock Southwest Gryphons (Little Rock, AR), 67-59 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Pine Bluff upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Zebras travel to Sheridan (Sheridan, AR) to play the Yellowjackets in a 5A South bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Yellowjackets come into the bout with a record of 7-2. Sheridan won 59-43 in their recent non-league bout against Hamburg (Hamburg, AR)
Next up, the Gryphons play the Bryant Hornets (Bryant, AR) in a 6A Central bout, on Saturday, December 9. Little Rock Southwest will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record.
