Michigan High School Basketball - Waverly nudges Sexton
December 9, 2023: Lansing, MI 48917 Waverly Warriors (Lansing, MI) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Sexton Big Reds (Lansing, MI), 88-82 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Waverly upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Warriors host Holt (Holt, MI) to clash with the Rams in a Capital Area - Blue bout on Thursday, December 14. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Holt lost 58-51 in their recent non-league bout against Cass Tech (Detroit, MI)
Next up, the Big Reds clash with the Olivet Eagles (Olivet, MI) in a Capital Area - White bout, on Friday, December 15. Sexton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
