Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Southern Columbia Area bested by Northwest Area
December 9, 2024: Shickshinny, PA 18655 Northwest Area Rangers (Shickshinny, PA) supporters left the game happy Monday as they observed their basketball squad achieve victory over the visiting Southern Columbia Area Tigers (Catawissa, PA), 63-54 in a non-league test.
Next, the Rangers encounter the Columbia Montour Vo-Tech Rams (Bloomsburg, PA) in a Midd-Penn test, on Wednesday, December 11. Northwest Area will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Rams come into the test with a 1-2 record after their 41-15 non-league win over Juniata Christian (McAlisterville, PA).
The Tigers (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Berwick (Berwick, PA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Berwick was knocked off by Bloomsburg (Bloomsburg, PA), 64-60, in a non-league test.
