The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Mt. Vernon Marauders (Fortville, IN) and the host Anderson Indians (Anderson, IN), observed Mt. Vernon's basketball team overcome Anderson by a margin of 47-39.

The Marauders (5-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Yorktown (Yorktown, IN). The Tigers come into the Hoosier Heritage challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Yorktown defeated Wapahani (Selma, IN), 55-19, in a non-league match.

The Indians now own a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Purdue Polytechnic for a non-league match on Friday, December 12. Anderson will meet a Techies squad coming off a 50-45 non-league win over Indianapolis Northwest Warriors (Indianapolis, IN). The Techies record now stands at 8-1.
