Abundant Life Academy (Nutley, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Veritas Christian Academy (Sparta, NJ), 73-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Abundant Life Academy upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The host Payne Tech (Newark, NJ) to clash with the Lions in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 15. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the clash with the Central Christian Academy Eagles (Southington, CT) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 3. Veritas Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
