Texas High School Basketball - Deweyville trounces Community Christian
December 1, 2022: Deweyville, TX 77614 The Deweyville Pirates (Deweyville, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Community Christian Lions (Orange, TX), 66-43 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Pirates (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Burkeville (Burkeville, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Burkeville was trounced by Starks (Starks, LA), 56-44, in a non-league test.
The Lions now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Harmony Science Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, December 3. Community Christian will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 58-57 non-league loss to Chester (Chester, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 1-4.
