Texas High School Basketball - Glenn thwarts Connally
December 1, 2022: Leander, TX 78641 The Glenn Grizzlies (Leander, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Connally Cadets (Waco, TX), 56-48 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Grizzlies (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Sunset (Dallas, TX). The Bison go into the non-league test with a 7-2 record. In their last test, Sunset notched a victory over Pantego Christian (Arlington, TX), 64-60, in a non-league test.
The Cadets now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Kaufman for a non-league test on Thursday, December 1. Connally will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 61-33 non-league loss to Forney (Forney, TX). The Lions record now stands at 0-4.
